On our one day game cookery course you’ll learn how to identify, prepare, portion, cook and serve British game.

Whether you are wild about game shooting or would just like to expand your culinary repertoire by learning how to cook some delicious, tried and tested game recipes, our one day game cookery course is ideal. Jim Fisher offers inspiration along with some cheffy tips and tricks and knowledge on how to deal with different types of game, from game birds such as pheasant to rabbit.

Game meat is wild and natural, part of our countryside harvest, but it is also a vibrant and a modern addition to today’s lifestyles and food choices.

At the end of the course you’ll be able to:

  • Portion and cook pheasant
  • Portion and cook rabbit
  • Make a variety of sauces for the above
